WHAT WE DO
The Christian Counseling Connection, Inc. provides biblically informed counseling to families and individuals with the goal of fostering psychological and spiritual wholeness.
Christian Counseling Connection, Inc. started out as the brainchild of three counselors from differing disciplines who met monthly for peer supervision and prayer support. Launching the agency in 2001 with a grant from the Bakerville United Methodist Church, two counselors, a director, and an office manager shared three small rooms in the first-floor apartment of a private home. The incorporators immediately formed a board of directors (many of whom are still serving) and filed for non-profit status.
Today CCC still has its ever-faithful director, but now there are six therapists, an office manager, and an admin assistant. One of the strengths of the agency is the variety of disciplines represented by state-licensed therapists: social workers, marriage and family therapists, and professional counselors.
Most of the staff meets weekly for office business, prayer, worship, and case-sharing.
As well as being sought out by private individuals, CCC receives referrals from physicians, state agencies, insurance companies, courts, attorneys, pastors and para-church organizations.
The mission of the Christian Counseling Connection, Inc. is to provide biblically informed counseling to families and individuals with the goal of fostering psychological and spiritual wholeness. The Connection also seeks to provide workshops and seminars to promote the healing process and enable Christians to effectively reach out to others.
